For many lakhs of Muddebihal residents who suffer from hunger and poverty, agriculture is their primary source of income. The majority of these individuals are associated with small-scale (smallholder) farms.
C. S. Nadagouda believes that smallholder farmers can harness the power of food production to improve their families' lives while providing local consumers with dependable access to wholesome and affordable food. His initiatives include quality pesticides, improved seeds, fertilizers, agricultural mechanization equipment, and the construction of storage facilities to strengthen the agricultural economy.
